LIA GABRIELLE OF LGM CUSTOMS

Tier 3 Visionary

Creating clothes has always been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. Not only do I love bringing my imagination to life (as well as others) , but I also love the effect it leaves on whoever wears my pieces. I want to bring confidence to everyone who wears my clothes and make them feel like the king/queen of the world. Creating is my outlet for life.

BRYAN WILSON OF BCW ARTS

Tier 3 Visionary

My work is based on the people around us. Everyone lives by different motives and find themselves in their own bubble, I try to explore this through art. The use of skeletons in my work does not represent the dead or anyone specific, the use of the skeleton is a simple representation of a human. Once you break it down to the bare basics anyone can become a victim. The reason I make art is because it creates emotion and that emotion can be good or bad but that's the appeal of art for me.

NATALIE RIVERA OF NJ RIVERA

Tier 3 Visionary

I do my best in pouring my soul and emotions into my art in ways others can relate to. It’s a satisfying feeling when someone takes a look at what I’ve created and says "this is making me feel something, or this is exactly how I feel."

LAUREN GOLDSTEIN OF BONESANDBREWSART

Tier 3 Visionary

I have never been one to present as generic, and I try to breathe that same life into my art. Focusing on darker and more taboo topics, I like to present pieces that are more niche than broad. My subject matters reside somewhere in between uncomfortable and beautiful. I am always growing and learning as an artist and I believe my art presents how you are not confined to one craft and can always continue to grow.

JOSIE WENZELL OF WELL BEING APPAREL

Tier 2 Entrepreneur

I am a young entrepreneur and artist who admires the study of the mind and puts an emphasis on healthy living and good vibes. I have been handcrafting jewelry since I was 12 and I have been drawing since I can remember. I draw all my designs and craft all jewelry by hand. Starting my own small business has always been a dream of mine. I would say I am most inspired by artists who use a variety of materials and dabble into mixed media; that type of art has always intrigued me. I do all of my work in my art studio. Having a designated space to work and create has always helped me and encouraged me to pursue my work. Hopefully you enjoy what I've made.

DAEJONA GORDON OF DAEJONA.PNG

Tier 2 Entrepreneur

When I take pictures and create digital art, I open a window to my soul. My art is inspired by the things that inspire me, Nature, space, and people who look like me. I have been creating since 2016 and I pride myself on integrating components of me into things bigger and more powerful. My art captures my mind and spirit and presents itself as a masterpiece.

KENEYA BURKS OF KENEYAKNITS

Tier 2 Entrepreneur

When I create items, I pride myself on creating with the best quality possible.

MICAH ROSS OF IMXCAH

Tier 2 Entrepreneur

I’m a traditional artist and I enjoy exploring different mediums to create, but I prefer using a variety of pens and pencils because I have the most confidence and control with those mediums. I mostly use the technique of wrapping lines, precise scribbles, and/or laying several colors next to each other to show depth in a piece. I tend to create when I’m fascinated and inspired by the look or movement of a person, an animal, or a thing in nature. I struggle with processing my emotions, thoughts and existence, so I find it satisfying when I'm able to stop and focus on making something that grabs my attention. That’s the reason I make art. I make it to capture being in a moment, and that’s what my work reflects: moments.

BRIANNA FOX OF BR.ILLUSTRATION

Tier 2 Entrepreneur

When I create my illustrations, I always aim to represent black people, specifically black women. My environment is a huge influence on what I aim to create and how I go about my art process. The characters I create reflect this, not only in my portrait illustrations, but throughout my work of my original characters for my upcoming webcomic. I'm currently working on developing my story and designs enough to begin posting the comics in about three to four months. On top of developing my webcomic, I'm currently researching companies to mass produce my art prints and stickers of my other illustrations for a shop. In the future, I hope to use my art as a way to represent my community within the larger comic/illustration community, in a way that pushes a much more positive narrative.

ALEXIS BAGLEY OF LEXXIITERRESTRIAL

Tier 2 Entrepreneur

As an artist I am most inspired by the Afro-Surrealist and Afrofuturism aesthetics. So, I always aim to show my viewers a new and interesting twist on reality. The most important thing to me is that I create artwork that has meaning to me. Each of my pieces are packed with emotion as I tend to create my best when I feel the most emotionally vulnerable. My pieces are apart of who I am, so when people view them I know they’re seeing the most intimate parts of me.

AALAYAH POE OF NATURAL THINGZ

Tier 1 Artist

Crocheting brings me peace. It’s such tedious and time consuming hobby. It allows me to appreciate how things are made and the time, dedication, and creativity that goes into it. When you lock in the last stitch and see your creation come to life, it is such a great feeling.

NINA WALKER

Tier 1 Artist

A huge goal of mine is to spread my visions through multiple mediums, which is why I try to learn many different forms of art like photography, painting, drawing, and film. When I make art in any medium, my goal is to capture a genuine feeling. I want my work to be cohesive and have a distinct look that isn’t traditional, or exactly what people see in reality.

AKUA TANDOH OF _NYANTAH_

Tier 1 Artist

When I create art prints and stickers, I pride myself on making a cohesive piece in a sense. No matter what I’m creating art of, whether it be fan art or original, I enjoy having a piece that feels completely whole in its execution.

AMBER BRODACKI OF EMPOWERED WILDFLOWER

Tier 1 Artist

When I create, I love making funky unique pieces. It helps me express my feelings and I believe that it allows others to express themselves as well. Whether it be a painting or jewelry, I think art gives confidence and meaning in the world. I think the world always needs more funk!

SAMANTHA FLUCHT OF FLOWERZALLAROUND

Tier 1 Artist

Painting a pair of jeans started as a high school painting class project, but once I started my first semester at Kent State, it became a passion and a business. Thrifting the bases of my clothing has aloud me to be able to promote sustainability through my business, which I’m incredibly passionate about. I have been able to expand making patches with scrap fabrics, which also promotes sustainability. Sketching, planning, sewing, painting, and seeing the finished project brings me such joy, and seeing someone wear and love my work makes me even happier.

RYAN MOORE OF THE PLANET RYAN

Tier 1 Artist

The look of my art is heavily influenced by graffiti, street culture, and skateboarding culture. My earliest inspiration for this style is the late and great Keith Haring. I was always captivated by how distinct his style was, so much so that you could throw it on a shirt or a pair of socks and everyone would know who the artist is. That is the vision I have for my art, as well. I aim for my art to have the effect of creating different worlds that you can get lost in or simply find a specific detail that you like, like a certain face or a certain usage of color.
