We are here to answer any questions you may have about the EAC.

What is considered an Emerging Artist?

The EAC’s definition of emerging artist is any creatrix who isn’t operating on a professional scale. Even the most experienced of artists and the most esteemed child-prodigies are emerging artists to us, and are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Is there an age limit?

The only age restriction we administer is an age maximum which is 25. We hope to be able to support emerging artists from middle school all the way through to college.

What is an art fair season?

The art fair season is similar to that of an academic year; we begin our workshops in August and they go on until January. We find that after the holiday season, both online and in-person sales tend to lower. While we still communicate during this time we encourage creative freedom in the months leading up to first art fairs.

Can artists transfer from tier to tier in one art fair season?

We at the EAC elect specific juries that choose which tier the artist is in. Every EAC artist is provided equal networking and collaborating opportunities, so switching tiers is not necessarily effective. Tier 2 to Tier 3 transitions can NOT be made during an art fair season.
